5 Things I Have Learned After Trying Bullet Journal for 3 Months
Near the end of 2018, one book hit almost every bookstore in Taiwan, became bestseller, and raised discussion nearly everywhere on my Facebook. Some would even post the book with its exclusive Leuchtturm notebook, showing how much they believe in what the book says. It’s the Mandarin version of Ryder Carroll’s books The Bullet Journal Method: Track the Past, Order the Present, Design the Future.
Out of curiosity, and due to the mess both in my life and work, I brought the book home and started it from January 5, after the 4-day public holiday in Taiwan. Also, I was afraid of failing in doing bullet journal so I tried a cheaper notebook, USD 1, first. By this time, I’ve tried bullet journal for 3 months. Has my life got better? What I’ve learned from this experience? Will I keep trying?
1. Patience: it takes time to see the change
Like Ryder said in his book:
The beginner of bullet journal may need to try this method for at least 2–3 months to see the influence and impact on your life and mindset.
